We exist with the support of our collaborators, including authors and editors. Below we have included resources to help you to promote your work with us.

6 ways to help promote your work

If you are currently affiliated with an institution, email your librarian and recommend a free trial.
Add details to your email signature, your faculty page, or your social media accounts. We have materials you can use and don’t forget to follow and tag us on X (Twitter), Instagram and YouTube.
Contact your university communications department (if applicable) and ask that they include information about your contribution on your university’s website.
Announce that your work is included in the collection on any listservs or forums to which you’re subscribed, or just email relevant contacts you have who might be interested.
Send us a video! Create a short video of yourself talking about your work and we can include it in our promotions. Read our guide, or contact us for more information.
Attending conferences or events? Let us know if you would like us to send you any materials.

Citing your work

When you visit your work here in full you will see a ‘cite’ icon, click it to view formatted citations in APA, MLA, Chicago and Harvard citation styles. You can also download a file in RIS format for importing into reference manager software. Please note that for some work the original pagination has been preserved from the print editions.

Bloomsbury Medieval Studies Core Collection

Part of the Bloomsbury Medieval Studies Core Collection, The Encyclopedia of the Global Middle Ages commissioned by Arc Humanities Press, takes an inclusive approach to the history of the middle ages. The encyclopedia provides readers with scholarly articles by global contributors and specialists in all things Medieval.
